BROOKSVILLE - TAMPA BAY REGIONAL AIRPORT
Development Opportunities

Today’s airports are more than just runways, aircraft and hangars. They are economic engines that are essential to collaborations between companies and communities.

Our office works with local, state and federal agencies to offer land and services that are vital to the successful operations of our tenants and customers. We accomplish that mission at only a nominal cost to taxpayers. Our financial self-sufficiency is made possible because the Brooksville-Tampa Bay Regional Airport & Technology Center is owned and operated by the Hernando County Board of County Commissioners, which has established an Enterprise Fund to underwrite operations and expenses through user fees.

There are 2,400 acres at the airport industrial site, which presents enticing site options for aviation businesses that have outgrown facilities at other airports, and also parcels for smaller non-aeronautical companies looking to expand or relocate.

Contact the BKV staff to learn more about options for leasing land at our award-winning airport. We work seamlessly with the Hernando County Office of Business Development to provide information about available financial incentives, infrastructure assistance and fast-track permitting for eligible businesses.
