BKV is fully equipped with an on-airport Aircraft Rescue and Firefighting (ARFF) unit that is specifically dedicated to the support of safety in aircraft operation. This special category of firefighting involves incident response, hazard mitigation, evacuation and possible rescue of passengers and crew of an aircraft involved in a ground emergency. You can feel safe knowing that you and your aircraft are in fully qualified and capable hands. Station 14 is located on the eastern side of the airport near Runway 9.
